"I was so impressed by the performance and features which the Exterity IPTV system had to offer, that I had no hesitation in recommending it as a state of the art expandable means of distributing not just the complete spectrum of Freeview TV channels but the National Film & Television School TV studio output and many other video sources we needed to distribute around the campus. The support from IVC was expertly organised with the usual goals and expectations defined for clarity ensuring there were no costly surprises." Brian Naylor - Senior Engineer

Following various discussions the school's technology team were invited to visit a similar campus type venue, where the Exterity IPTV solution had been installed and were able to see first hand the ease of integration and flexibility of the system and the picture quality.

Following the demonstration the school's technology team had no hesitation in selecting the Exterity IPTV solution. Configuring of the campus wide network was carried out by the school's IT department along with the installation of the i-socket receivers at each of the user, and display end points.

IVC Media installed the encoding equipment, commissioned the system and provided full system operating training for the school's technical and operating staff.

The completed system distributes the complete spectrum of Freeview television channels along with NFTS TV SDI studio outputs and all other video sources needed to be distributed around the campus. All channels are viewed on a mix of PC's, Laptops, CRT receivers and large screen displays throughout the campus.

IVC Media have also demonstrated full HD across the network to the great enthusiasm of the schools technical team who saw this as a must have addition for the enhancing of the tutor training and experience.
